Your Campus

University of Waikato College is located on the main campus of the University of Waikato, close to the vibrant city of Hamilton. The campus has a relaxed and welcoming feel, with plenty of green space to enjoy and a number of facilities, including our state-of-the-art student centre, sports centre, a number of cafés and places to eat.

Our dedicated team provides you with the advice and services you need to ensure your time studying with us is successful and happy.

The student centre is a state-of-the-art, multi-functional facility that provides students with an optimal learning environment, combining traditional library resources with hi-tech IT facilities. The student centre is also home to the Student Learning Unit, who will assist in developing your study skills, assignment writing and exam preparation.

Our student handbook provides you with information about student support, staff, university facilities, accommodation and other information that will help you settle into your new life in New Zealand.

At University of Waikato College, you will get the support you need to prepare for your degree in the picturesque surroundings of the Waikato region. During your programme with us, our staff will help familiarise you with the higher education system in New Zealand, and build your English language and study skills. You can also get to know all the university faculties and discover all the study opportunities available to you at undergraduate level.

Health services for all students are available on campus, including counsellors, doctors, and nurses. Our team of counsellors can help you adjust to university life, as well as assist you with any personal or study-related issues. Waikato has an ecumenical chaplain, a Catholic priest and two Muslim prayer rooms available.

The International Student Services Office has a dedicated team to help you during your time at the University of Waikato. They oversee:
